Tenerife and the sea: cetaceans, tunnies, fishing and gastronomy
The Atlantic rolls out all its splendour in the waters around Tenerife.
The island of Tenerife lies on the routes of marine species such as cetaceans, tunny fish and other varieties. A natural richness which has an impact in various fields of the local economy: fishing, gastronomy and tourism. This, and also their conservation, means it is vital to keep these Atlantic routes operational.
For a better insight into all this richness, at this round table three Canary Island scientists will be on board the Free Bird catamaran to explain everything the Atlantic Ocean has to offer in the Canaries.
